Camp notes / information:
- The 2-day camp is offered at a cost of only $20(*) thanks to sponsorship from Fox 40 and the Hamilton Board of Approved Basketball Officials
- (*) The $20 camp registration fee will be refunded for those that register as members of the Hamilton Board in September, making the camp cost FREE
- Previous refereeing experience is not necessary
- You do not need to attend all sessions in order to participate however maximum attendance is recommended
- Bring running shoes, shorts & a T-shirt and come prepared to referee. Please also bring a pen and pad of paper to take notes during the education sessions
- Please note that the Camp is for current and prospective members of the Hamilton Board only. Participants must be at least 16 years old as of the coming September 1 to attend and to join the Hamilton Board. For more information on becoming a member of our Board please see the New Officials FAQ
Sample Schedule (subject to change):
- Registration – 8:15
- Morning education session and game scrimmages – 8:30am to 11:45am
- Lunch – 11:45am to 12:30pm
- Afternoon education session and game scrimmages – 12:30pm to 2:30pm
