Final plans for the 2022 edition of the Fox 40 Officials Camp are coming together and registration is filling up. The Camp Schedule has been released including the addition of Special Guest Speaker, Herbie Kuhn – please see below for full details. The camp is August 24 & 25, 2022 at Bishop Tonnos High School in Ancaster. Register on our Summer Camp page.
The 2022 FOX 40 Officials Camp is held in affiliation with the Hamilton Board of Approved Basketball Officials
Special Guest Speaker – Herbie Kuhn
Herbie Kuhn serves full-time with the Christian sports ministry, Athletes in Action. In that role he provides chaplaincy services for the Toronto Argonauts, Toronto Raptors, the Athletics Canada East Hub as well as York Regional Police.
Herbie is best known as the familiar in-house Voice of the 2019 NBA Champions, the Toronto Raptors. He has completed 26 seasons of announcing Raptors basketball. In addition, he’s called games at Olympic qualifiers, twice at the Pam-Am games as well as at the 1994 World Championships.
A life long resident of Toronto, Herbie and his wife will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on August 30, and they are proud parents to a teenage son.
